    This Privacy Policy explains how Buildz LLC, operating as ClaimArchitect ("we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit claimarchitect.com or use our Services.

    By using the Services, you consent to the practices described in this Policy.

    Important: ClaimArchitect provides independent rebuild valuation and estimating services. We are not a public adjusting firm, law firm, or insurance company and we do not provide legal, tax, financial, or insurance advice.

    1. Information We Collect

    We collect information in several ways:

    a. Information You Provide Directly

    • Contact information – name, email address, phone number, mailing address.
    • Account / intake information – property details, claim status as you describe it, answers to questionnaires, preferred contact methods.
    • Documents and media – insurance policies, adjuster estimates, photos, videos, plans, blueprints, permits, engineering reports, and other files you upload or send to us so we can prepare your rebuild valuation.
    • Payment information – such as billing details and partial payment information processed via third-party providers (we do not store full credit card numbers).
    • Communications – emails, calls, SMS/text messages, and other communications between you and our team.
    • Chatbot interactions – messages you send to our AI chatbot or site chat, and the responses provided.

    b. Information Collected Automatically

    When you visit our website, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

    • IP address and approximate geolocation;
    • Browser type, device type, and operating system;
    • Pages viewed, time on site, and clickstream data;
    • Referring URLs (how you arrived on our site);

    • Communications – Sending service-related messages (e.g., order confirmations, document requests, delivery of Reports) and, where permitted, marketing or informational messages about ClaimArchitect.
    • Analytics & advertising – Understanding how visitors use our site, measuring the effectiveness of our campaigns, and improving our outreach and ad targeting.
    • Security & compliance – Detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, or misuse; complying with legal obligations; enforcing our Terms.
    • Research & development – Improving the accuracy, performance, and quality of our systems, including our AI tools and valuation processes. When possible, we use aggregated or de-identified information for these purposes.

    We use the content of your documents (policies, estimates, photos, etc.) primarily to provide and improve our rebuild valuation Services, including training and refining our internal models and workflows, subject to appropriate safeguards and in accordance with this Policy. We do not use your documents to provide legal advice or to make claim or coverage decisions.

    3. How We Use AI & Chatbots

    We may use third-party or proprietary AI tools and chatbots to:

    • Analyze documents, images, and text for rebuild valuation and internal organization;
    • Generate summaries, extractions, and structured data;
    • Answer general questions and guide you through the site or intake process.

    When you interact with our chatbot or AI-powered tools:

    • Your messages and the responses may be logged;
    • They may be reviewed by human staff for quality, safety, and improvement;
    • They may be used to train and refine our internal systems and workflows.

    We take steps to protect your information, but AI systems are not perfect and may sometimes generate incorrect or incomplete information.

    Chatbot interactions and AI outputs should not be treated as legal, tax, financial, or insurance advice, and should not be your sole basis for decisions about your claim or coverage.

    4. Cookies, Pixels & Tracking Technologies

    Our Services are primarily targeted to users in the United States, and we do not currently implement region-specific cookie consent mechanisms for non-U.S. regions.

    b. Professional Partners

    • With builders, estimators, or technical experts we work with to prepare, review, or sign off on your Report; and
    • At your request or with your consent, with attorneys, public adjusters, or other professionals who are part of your team.

    We do not share your information with your insurance carrier unless you ask us to or you choose to share our Report yourself.

    c. Business Transfers

    In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to reasonable confidentiality protections.

    d. Legal & Safety

    We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to:

    • Comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request;
    • Enforce our Terms or protect our rights, property, or safety;
    • Protect the rights, property, or safety of our users, the public, or others.

    We do not sell your personal information in exchange for money. Certain data sharing for advertising/analytics may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under some state laws; if and when those laws apply, we will comply with applicable obligations and provide any required rights.

    • Use information obtained from public or professional sources, including LinkedIn, property records, and other directories, for outreach to homeowners and related contacts in the United States.

    You can opt out of marketing communications at any time:

    • For email: use the unsubscribe link in the message;
    • For SMS: reply "STOP" or follow the instructions in the message;
    • Or contact us directly using the information in Section 13.

    Service-related communications (e.g., order confirmations, document requests, delivery of Reports) are not considered marketing and may still be sent even if you opt out of marketing.

    7. Data Retention

    We retain your information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

    • Provide the Services;
    • Maintain business and legal records;
    • Comply with our legal obligations;
    • Resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and protect our rights.

    We may retain Reports and related data for internal recordkeeping, quality assurance, and to maintain a history of our rebuild valuations.

    We may also anonymize or aggregate information so that it no longer identifies you and use it for legitimate business purposes, including analytics and research.

    8. Your Choices & Rights

    Because we are focused on the United States, international privacy regimes (such as the GDPR) may not fully apply. However, we aim to honor reasonable requests consistent with U.S. law.

    Depending on your state of residence and applicable law, you may have rights such as to:

    • Request access to the personal information we hold about you;
    • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information;
    • Request deletion of certain personal information;
    • Object to or restrict certain processing;

    However, no system or transmission over the internet can be guaranteed 100% secure. You use the Services and provide information at your own risk.

    Please notify us promptly at security@claimarchitect.com if you believe your account, documents, or interaction with us is no longer secure.

    10. Children's Privacy

    Our Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

    Our Services are primarily intended for users and properties located in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
